Common questions

Do I need to charge GST/HST or PST?

It depends on your province and revenue — some provinces use HST, others charge GST plus a separate PST. We assess this during your consultation.

What's the difference between a T1 and a T2?

A T1 is the individual income tax return, filed by sole proprietors, individuals and business owners personally. A T2 is the corporate income tax return, filed by incorporated businesses.

Should I incorporate federally or provincially?

It depends on whether you plan to operate in multiple provinces and your naming/liability preferences. We walk through the trade-offs during your free consultation.

How much do your services cost?

Pricing depends on your business size and needs. We agree a fixed monthly or annual fee upfront, after a free initial consultation. See our Pricing page for illustrative tiers.
